Starting on January 2nd, Bright Beginnings Christian Preschool will offer “Priority Registration” for existing families currently enrolled in the program and alumni families. A Priority Registration form for the 2019-2020 school year is attached to this newsletter or can be requested by phone at 763-639-9876 for alumni. Last year some of our existing and alumni families waited to sign up after we opened up registration to the public and were not able to obtain a spot for the class they wanted. Therefore, please return your form & registration fee to us on or before January 18th if you are interested in enrolling your current student(s) for the next school year or their sibling(s). Registration is on a first come first serve basis for current and alumni families!
There will be no school on Monday, January 21st due to Martin Luther King Day.
On Tuesday, January 22nd, we will have open registration to the public from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm. A Bright Beginnings Christian Preschool Co-Director will take registrations for each interested party in the atrium area near the entrance of the school. All registration forms for new students will be given to parents for the upcoming school year or can be downloaded off our web site prior to registration at www.bbc-preschool.com. If your first choice class is full, we can place you on a waiting list and register you for your second choice class. Please feel free to share this information with anyone you know who is looking for a preschool program for next year.
January 22nd & 23rd, we will be having our Annual Fun with Fathers event. If possible, dads or any other male figure in your child’s life should attend school this day with your student(s). Please clear your calendars, so you can enjoy this opportunity with your child(ren). Our theme this year is Fantasy. We have Brian Richards from 4 Ace Productions scheduled to perform a fun interactive magic show. He offers an unforgettable fun show with tons of laughter. Students in the “Little Explorers” S.T.E.M. program who attend in the afternoon only, are to arrive at 10:40. Class for all Little Explorers in the afternoon, will start at the regular time. Dads should bring a lunch and eat with these student(s). This event is paid for through our Usborne Cards for a Cause Fundraiser.
Our Usborne Cards for a Cause Fundraiser kickoff will begin on January 29th & 30th. Each box contains 30 splendid handmade cards for various occasions. Our goal is to surpass last year’s sales of 117 boxes! Enter a drawing to win a beautiful Usborne free book if you sell 2 boxes in the first 2 days and another drawing for those selling 4 boxes within the first week. These cards make great gifts and are always handy to have around the house for those special occasions. This fundraiser is our only way to raise money for in-house visitors, entertainers for Memories with Mom & Fun with Fathers, the Bubble Party at the end of the year and for special equipment for the school. We would like to reach a goal of 100% participation by all students in the school. With everyone’s support, we will make this fundraiser a HUGE success!
