January 2022 Bright Beginnings Bulletin

School resumes on January 3rd for the MWF students and January 4th for the T-TH students.

Starting on January 3rd, Bright Beginnings Christian Preschool will offer “Priority Registration” for existing families currently enrolled in the program and alumni families who have enrolled in our program over the last 20 years. A Priority Registration form for the 2022-2023 school year is attached to this newsletter or can be requested by phone at 763-639-9876 for alumni.  Last year some of our existing and alumni families waited to sign up after we opened up registration to the public and were not able to obtain a spot for the class they wanted.  Therefore, please return your form & registration fee to us on or before January 14th if you are interested in enrolling your current student(s) for the next school year or their sibling(s). Registration is on a first come first serve basis for current and alumni families!

This year, each BBCP family will be receiving a $150 Gift Voucher to give to a relative, friend or neighbor to attend preschool during the 2022/23 school year.  If the family you give the Gift Voucher to enrolls, you will also receive a Gift Voucher for the same amount to use for your immediate family.  $50 will be applied to each trimester’s tuition of the full $150 Gift Voucher.

There will be no school on Monday, January 17h due to Martin Luther King Day.

On Tuesday, January 18th, we will have open registration to the public from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.  Bright Beginnings Christian Preschool’s Director will take registrations for each interested party in the atrium area near the front entrance of the school.  Due to COVID-19, phone registrations will also be available by calling 763-639-9876.  All registration forms for new students will be given to parents for the upcoming school year or can be downloaded off our web site prior to registration at www.bbc-preschool.com.  If your first choice class is full, we can place you on a waiting list and register you for your second choice class.  Please feel free to share this information with anyone you know who is looking for a preschool program for next year.

May God shine His light upon you in the New Year!

The Teaching Staff at Bright Beginnings Christian Preschool

Bright Beginnings Christian Preschool 2021/22 COVID Protocol

Bright Beginnings Christian Preschool follows the MN State Health’s Decision Tree, which can be confusing.

With Covid numbers on the rise and younger people contracting the disease and the many questions we have been receiving at Preschool, we thought we would try to make things more clear. Please read carefully to understand each situation. If you have any questions, please let us know.

● If a preschool student tests positive, they will need to stay home for 10 days from when symptoms end with no fever reducing medication. If they test positive, but have no symptoms, the student will have to stay home for 5 days from testing day.

● If your student has had close contact with a student who has tested positive in the classroom, and your student was wearing a mask, your student will not need to isolate and stay home.

● If your student has had close contact with a student who has tested positive in the classroom, and you student was not wearing a mask, your student will need to isolate and stay home for 10 days if you choose to not get your student tested .

● If your student has had close contact with a student who has tested positive in the classroom, and your student was not wearing a mask, your student can return on the 8th day from exposure if your student has been tested with a PCR test and they are negative and showing no symptoms.

● If your student has had close contact with a student who has tested positive in the classroom, and your student has previously contracted COVID, your student does not have to isolate if they were or were not wearing a mask. Your student has natural immunities for 90 days from the time they tested positive.

● If your student has had close contact with anyone outside of the school, the above needs to be followed in all situations.

At BBCP masks are not mandated, but highly recommended. If you can get your child to wear a mask, the teachers will do their best to have them wear them during class. This way your student will avoid missing classes if exposed.

Bright Beginnings is trying our best to keep our staff, students, and their families as healthy as we can. We pray that one day this will all be behind us and be just a blur in our memories. Thank you for all you do to help keep our families healthy and safe.
