We would like to thank everyone who donated food and other items to our school grocery store. We will be taking these items to the food shelf towards the end of April. We’ll let you know in May, the total amount of pounds Joyful Noise Christian Preschoolers donated to see if we surpassed last year’s total of 391 lbs.
We are elated with the positive responses we have received in regards to our “Donuts for Dad” and the “Muffins for Mom” events. We appreciate Home Depot of Maple Grove and their staff for coming to our school and guiding us in creating a wonderful woodworking project. Please remember to visit the Maple Grove store on the first and third Saturday of each month, if you and your student would like to participate in their free Home Depot’s Kids Workshop to make other woodworking projects they offer. We also would like to thank Lynde Greenhouse and Nursery of Maple Grove for getting us started on our 2011 spring planting. Please remember on April 30, Lynde Greenhouse and Nursery will be having their Spring Open House which is a fun, free family event from 10:30 to 1:00 with kid’s activities such as face painting, seed planting and snacks. You may even be the lucky winner of their $100.00 gift card drawing.
School resumes on April 4th & 5th after Spring Break. We hope everyone enjoys this time off with their children.
There will be no school on April 22nd.
At the end of April, Ms. Julie the Librarian will be visiting our school to inform the children all about our Hennepin County Libraries and read some of her favorite stories. It is always a delightful day at school when Ms. Julie visits our classrooms.
