The children are doing a great job getting to know the routine at school. Please be extra careful in the parking lot as the students are coming and going from class. We want to keep this part of our day as safe as possible for everyone. The month of October is extremely busy with many events.
October 5th & 6th, we take our first field trip to Berry Hill Farm in Anoka. Students will have the opportunity to ride in a wagon pulled by a tractor, make their way through the tall grass maze and experience petting the various animals on the farm. We will also get to take home one small pumpkin and lot of memories! Students in the afternoon class only, will attend this field trip with the morning classes. The Little Explorers S.T.E.M. class will begin as soon as we return from our field trip.
On 10/19 & 20 the school will be closed for the MN Professional Conference
On 10/27 & 10/31 we will be having our Pumpkin Parties. When choosing your child’s costume for the Pumpkin Party at school, please keep in mind that they must be non-violent. Some suggestions that work out nice are: Animals, Insects, Prince/Princess, Cowboy/girl, Storybook Characters, etc. In the past, the children have brought some type of peanut free treat to pass out to their classmates at the end of the party. They usually go home with plenty of goodies to share with their family!
There will be no school on 10/30 due to an Osseo Dist. Staff Workshop
Other reminders for this month: Please turn in your Health Care Summary signed by your healthcare provider before October 11th if you haven’t already.
As a reminder, we will be taking our school pictures on 11/15 & 11/16.
