Bright Beginnings Christian Preschool

We would like to thank Dr. Angell for visiting our 3 day classes during Dental Week and donating toothbrushes to those students.  His time and generosity was very much appreciated.

Once again, Bright Beginnings Christian Preschool will be collecting non perishable foods and personal hygiene items (preferably no glass) starting March 1st, to donate to the CEAP program to help out needy families who are less fortunate than us.  Before these items are taken to CEAP on Friday, March 22nd, the students will use these items to set up a grocery store in the dramatic play area.  Our goal is to beat last year’s record of 223 lbs.  This is a wonderful opportunity for your child to participate in a community project.

Friday, March 8th, originally a non-school day, has been added to the school calendar to recover some of the time lost due to weather cancellations.  

Family/Teacher conference sign-up sheet.  Look for this sheet when you drop off your child at the beginning of class.  

T-TH classes will be on Thursday, March 21st, from 8:15-11:55, each lasting 10 minutes.

Pre-K, MWF 9-11:30am & Little Explorers afternoon class will be on Friday, March 22nd from 8:15-3:00, each 10 minutes.

Pre-K PLUS, MWF 8:30-11:30am class will be on Friday, March 22nd 8:15-12:15 each 15 min.  

Students are always welcome to attend!

Don’t miss your chance to sign up your astronaut for Camp Bright Beginnings as we launch our rockets on a “Mission to Kindergarten” while seats are still available during conferences.  All prospective astronauts must be attending Kindergarten this fall to board this mission. We launch our spaceship each morning at 9:00 and return at 1:00, Monday through Friday, June 3rd – 7th.  Tickets for qualifying astronauts for this mission are $200.00. Please contact a teacher at the school for more information or to get your registration form. This mission is open to the public as well as Bright Beginnings Christian Preschool students and is on a first come first serve basis.

We sold 59 boxes of cards for our Usborne Cards for a Cause Fundraiser.  We had 28% of our families participate in the fundraiser.  Our winner of the drawing for selling 2 boxes in 2 days is, Piper Groen.  We would also like to congratulate the winner of our drawing for selling 4 boxes in the First Week, who is Simeon Hanna.  We want to thank everyone who participated in the fundraiser to help our school.

We are also in need of gently used picture frames 8 x 10 or larger preferably, but will accept other sizes for our Art Show in May.  If you happen to have any frames you would like to donate, we would appreciate it.

Spring break will be March 25th through the 29th.  There will not be school during this time.  We hope all of you have a fantastic time spending it with your children!

There is no school on Monday, February 4.  Osseo School District workshop.

February 5th & 6th, students will be taking a field trip to The Works, a technology discovery center museum in Edina, MN.  The Works is an enjoyable hands-on, minds-on science and engineering experience for children.  Students will have an opportunity to explore many unique exhibits. The afternoon classes will be attending with the morning classes.  Field trip permission forms will be placed outside the classroom prior to the field trip at drop off.

We will be celebrating our Valentine’s Day parties on the 13^th & 14^th.  Please have your children sign their name on each of their valentines (this is good practice for writing their names, hint: do a few each day.)  They do not need to address them to each classmate.

We at Bright Beginnings Christian Preschool would like to thank all our Party Parent Volunteers who have dedicated their time for the 2018-2019 school year.  Our Pumpkin and Happy Birthday Jesus parties were all a great success, as we are sure the Valentine’s Day Parties will be too.  The children look forward to these events and it is a great way to share your time and be involved with your child and their classmates.  Again, a BIG THANKS to all who help!

The 3^rd trimester tuition is due on February 15^th.  2 day is $531.00, 3 day Pre-Kindergarten 9-11:30 is $714.00, Pre-kindergarten PLUS 8:30-11:30 is $858.00, and Little Explorers afternoon class is $858.00.  Bright Beginnings Christian Preschool’s Tax ID number is #03-0455877, for families who need this information for tax purposes.

February 15^th & February 18^th there will be no school due to Osseo School District being closed and for Presidents Day.

Usborne Cards for a Cause fundraiser ends February 22nd. Turn in all your order forms on or before this date.  Thank you for supporting our school’s only fundraiser!
