The cold weather has come upon us. Please label your child’s winter wear, so if it becomes misplaced we can be sure to get it back to them.
It is hard to believe that one third of the school year has almost passed. Tuition for the second trimester is due on or before November 15th. 2 day $513. – 3 day $690. -3 day Pre-K & Little Explorers $831.
Individual and class pictures will be taken on November 15th and 16th during your child’s regular class time.
A conference sign-up sheet will be available soon. Look for this sheet when you drop off your child at the beginning of class. A text message to remind you to sign up will also be sent out on “Remind”. Conferences for Mrs. Hanson’s 3 day Pre-K class will be on Monday, Nov. 20th from 8:00am – 1:45pm. Mrs. Schantzen’s conferences for her 3 day am and Little Explorers classes will be on Monday, Nov. 20th from 8:15am – 3:15pm. Conferences for both Mrs. Hanson’s & Mrs. Schantzen’s T-TH am classes will be on Tuesday, November 21st in the morning from 8:15am – 12:05pm. Conferences last 10 minutes for most students, except for students in the Pre-Kindergarten Class, theirs will be 15 minutes each. Students may attend conferences.
“Reading is a Gift!” During conferences, on November 20th & 21st, we will have our Usborne Book Fair at Bright Beginnings Christian Preschool. You won’t want to miss your opportunity to view these award winning, high quality children’s literature books! It’s a great way to get a jump start on your Christmas shopping, Usborne Books make it easy! Or pick up some fantastic books for birthday gifts that can be given any time of the year. See attached information.
The school will be closed on Wednesday, November 22nd through the 24th in recognition of the Thanksgiving Holiday.
“Memories with Mom” will be held on November 29th & 30th . We invite moms or any other female figure in your child’s life to attend a day of school with your student for our annual “Memories with Mom.” If you are not able to attend this event, please notify your child’s teacher so we can buddy them up with another adult. This year’s theme is Fitness! Moms and students will be learning a Hip Hop Dance, courtesy of Chrissy Hagen of Tippi Toes Dance Studio. This event is paid for through funds raised during our Cards for a Cause campaign, coming up this February. Please help your school by participating during this fundraiser and help us continue these great events! Students in the “Little Explorers” S.T.E.M. program, who attend in the afternoon only, are to arrive at 10:45am to participate in the dance with their mom or other female adult. The fun starts promptly at 10:50am in the Gym.. Class for all “Little Explorers” afternoon session, will start at the regular time. If you have any questions, please direct them to your child’s teachers.
With the oncoming flu and cold season, we would like your help in reducing the spread of viruses by having your child wash their hands before and after school. Also if you are aware your child is not feeling well, please keep them home. These precautions will help us all stay healthy.
