School resumes on January 3rd for the MWF students and January 4th for the T-TH students.
Starting on January 3rd, Bright Beginnings Christian Preschool will offer “Priority Registration” for existing families currently enrolled in the program and alumni families. A Priority Registration form for the 2018-2019 school year is attached to this newsletter or can be requested by phone at 763-639-9876 for alumni. Last year some of our existing and alumni families waited to sign up after we opened up registration to the public and were not able to obtain a spot for the class they wanted. Therefore, please return your form to us on or before January 12th if you are interested in enrolling your current student(s) for the next school year or their sibling(s), to be guaranteed a spot. Registration is on a first come first serve basis!
There will be no school on Monday, January 15th due to Martin Luther King Day.
On Tuesday, January 16th, we will have open registration to the public from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. A Bright Beginnings Christian Preschool Co-Director will take registrations for each interested party in the atrium area near the entrance of the school. All registration forms for new students will be given to parents for the upcoming school year or can be downloaded off our web site prior to registration at www.bbc-preschool.com. If your first choice class is full, we can place you on a waiting list and register you for your second choice class. Please feel free to share this information with anyone you know who is looking for a preschool program for next year.
January 18th & 19th, we will be taking a field trip to the Minnesota Children’s Museum. The newly remodeled Museum’s mission statement is “providing children with a fun, hands-on and stimulating environment to explore and discover”. The museum wants to encourage kids to problem-solve, use creativity and gain confidence by taking risks. The Children’s Museum includes a four-story vertical adventure area, including climbing towers, spiral slide and netted catwalk suspended more than 40-feet high and much, much more. We will not be returning from this field trip until 12:15. As soon as we return on the bus, Little Explorers S.T.E.M. afternoon class will begin.
On January 29th, there will be No School due to a Osseo District Workshop.
As a reminder, on February 22nd & 23rd we will be having our Annual Fun with Fathers event. If possible, dads or any other male figure in your child’s life should attend school this day with your student(s). Please clear your calendars, so you can enjoy this opportunity with your child(ren). Class for all “Little Explorers”, the afternoon session will start at the regular time. Dads bring your lunch and eat with your student.
