Bright Beginnings Christian Preschool

We would like to thank our Bright Beginnings Christian Preschool families who donated food and other items to our CEAP campaign.  We are delighted to say, a total of 301 lbs. of food was donated.  This amount surpassed the 221 lbs donated last year.  With your generosity and kindness your donations have provided many families with needed food and or supplies.  We are sure those families are very grateful!

No school on Friday, April 14th due to a Conference release day.

Monday, April 24, no school, because Osseo Schools have a Staff Training Day.

During Wacky Week on Tuesday, April 26th and Wednesday the 27th, students are to style their hair as wacky as they can when they attend school!  On Thursday, April the 28th and Friday the 29th, students are to wear the wackiest clothes they can find.  This is a fun week for everyone to be creative and use their imaginations going wacky!

We are still in need of gently used picture frames, primarily 5 x 7 or larger for our Art Show in May.  If you come across any old frames while doing your spring cleaning, please consider donating them to the school so we can mat and frame the student’s art work for the show!

Currently for next year, we only have a few openings in our morning T-Th classes & our Little Explorers S.T.E.M afternoon class.   Please don’t hesitate too long to sign up for any of these classes, as they won’t be available much longer.

Calling all future astronauts!  Seats are filling up fast for our camp, “Mission to Kindergarten”, launching in June.  Registration is on a first come first serve basis and is open to students currently enrolled at Bright Beginnings Christian Preschool, as well as to any future astronauts in the public sector.  All astronauts must be attending Kindergarten this fall to board this flight.  Camp blasts off on Monday, June 5th and is scheduled to land on Friday, June 9th.  Please contact a teacher for your registration form or call the school at 763-639-9876 to have one mailed out to you.

Your Bright Beginnings Christian Preschool Teaching Staff

We are in need of gently used picture frames 8 x 10 or larger preferably, but will accept others sizes for our Art Show in May.  If you happen to have any frames you would like to donate, we would appreciate it.

We will not have school on Friday, March 10th, due to Prep for Conferences.

Family/Teacher conference sign-up sheet.  Look for this sheet when you drop off your child at the beginning of class.  Conferences for both Mrs. Hanson’s and Mrs. Schantzen’s T-TH classes will be on Thursday, March 23rd, each lasting 10 minutes a piece.  Mrs. Hanson’s conferences are from 8:00 am to noon.  Mrs. Schantzen’s conferences are from 8:15 am to 1:30 pm.  Conferences for Mrs. Schantzen’s MWF am and Little Explorers will be on Friday, March 24th from 8:15 am to 3:15 pm.  Also 10 minutes each.  Mrs. Hanson’s Pre-kindergarten MWF am class will also be on Friday, March 24th in the morning from 8:00 am to 1:30 pm.  These conferences will last  15 minutes each.  

Spring break will be March 27th through April 2nd.  There will not be school during this time. We hope all of you have a fantastic time spending it with your children!

We would like to thank Dr. Andrew Moffitt of Champlin’s Moffitt Restorative Dentistry for donating toothbrushes and toothpaste to all our students at Bright Beginnings Christian Preschool. His generosity is appreciated.  

Don’t forget to sign your astronaut up for Camp Bright Beginnings as we launch our rockets on a “Mission to Kindergarten” while seats are still available.  All prospective astronauts must be attending Kindergarten this fall to board this mission. We launch our space ship each morning at 8:30 and return at 2:30, Monday through Friday, June 5th – 9th.  Tickets for qualifying astronauts for this mission are $300.00.  Please contact a teacher at the school for information or for a registration form.  This mission is open to the public as well as Bright Beginnings Christian Preschool students.

The Usborne Cards for a Cause Fundraiser was a success!  We had 49% of our families participate in the fundraiser.  We exceeded last year’s school record of 122 and sold 173 boxes of cards this year.  WAY TO GO FAMILIES!!  Congratulations to the 14 families who received the book, “Under the Sea” for selling 5 boxes or more.  They were Adrian Mueller, Asher Godziek, Avery Tolle, Brianna Quito, Emmett Fodstad, Georgia Glitsos, Jack Festler, Mathias Hanna, Noah Schmaltz, Noah Stiff, Ruby Nordin, Shane O’Neil, Teagan Goshaw, Wesley Fawbush.  In our drawing for the 2 Day ~ 2 boxes sold, the winner was Shane O’Neil. Our winner of the First Week ~ 4 boxes sold, was Noah Stiff.  They both will receive the book, “Firefighters” by Katie Daynes.  We want to thank everyone who participated in the fundraiser.  These funds help our school become a successful extension of your child’s education.
