The cold weather has come upon us. Please label your child’s winter wear, so if it becomes misplaced we can be sure to get it back to them.
With 69.5% of our families participating, we raised $1,260.42 from our Gerten’s Fundraiser for the school. These funds will help provide in house guests, offset fieldtrip expenses, if COVID allows, new manipulatives, equipment, PPE supplies and sanitization solutions for Bright Beginnings Christian Preschool! We want to thank everyone who participated in helping our school make this a successful fundraiser!
It is with a sad heart that we need to cancel our “Fun With Fathers” event on November 11th & 12th. To gather all our students and fathers in one place is way too risky for everyone’s health.
It is hard to believe that one third of the school year has almost passed. Tuition for the second trimester is due on or before November 15th. Tuition amounts are: 2 day $588. – 3 day 2.5hr $795. – 3 day Pre-K PLUS 3 hr $957. & Little Explorers afternoon class $957.
Individual and class pictures will be taken on November 9th and 10th during your child’s regular class time.
Conference times will be assigned to families for November 22nd and 23rd during your child’s regular class time. If the time you were assigned does not work for you, please contact your child’s teacher. Adults are asked to wear masks. Children are encouraged to, if they can. Conferences for Mrs. Green’s 3 day Pre-K PLUS & Little Explorers class and Mrs. Hoitink’s conferences for her 3 day am will be on Monday morning, Nov. 22nd. Conferences for both Mrs. Green’s & Mrs. Hoitink’s T-TH am classes will be on Tuesday morning, November 23th.. Conferences will last 10 minutes for each class, except for students in the Pre-Kindergarten PLUS Class, theirs will be 15 minutes each. Students may attend conferences. Reminder: If your student is in the morning and afternoon with Mrs. Green, you will have a longer conference. If your student has Mrs. Hoitink in the morning, they will have a conference with Mrs. Green immediately following Mrs.Hoitink’s conference.
School will be closed on Wednesday, November 24th through the 26th in recognition of the Thanksgiving Holiday.
Attached are extra Scholastic Book orders, Early Childhood Holiday Special & Holiday Gift Books forms besides our regular Firefly. Scholastic books are taking longer to receive after an order is placed and we wanted to give you the opportunity to do a little Holiday shopping. If you order on-line, all books are .50 cheaper. Bright Beginnings class code is H3Q86. Books ordered and delivered to the school will arrive sooner than those shipped to your home. If you are purchasing books for your student, and don’t want them to know about it, send a text to the school 763-639-9876 requesting your order for your student to be wrapped. Orders are due on November 5.
The delivery of the 2021 Gerten’s Fundraiser will be on Tuesday, November 30th after we return from Thanksgiving. A “Remind” will be sent out with more details on November 29th.
