February 1st, there will be no school due to an Osseo District Workshop.
On February 4th & 5th the students will be going on a field trip to The Works in Bloomington. The Works is a unique engineering opportunity for children, creating a fun memorable learning experience for all. Please note, the bus will be returning at 11:45. This is fifteen minutes later than our regular classroom dismissal time.
We will be celebrating our Valentine’s Day parties on the 11th & 12th. Please have your children sign their name on each of their valentines (this is good practice for writing their names – hint: do a few each day.) They do not need to address them to each classmate.
We at Bright Beginnings Christian Preschool would like to thank all our Party Parent Volunteers who have dedicated their time for the 2015-2016 school year. Our Pumpkin and Happy Birthday Jesus parties were all a great success, as we are sure the Valentine’s Day Parties will be too. The children look forward to these events and it is a great way to share your time and be involved with your child and their classmates. Again, a BIG THANKS to all who help!
February 15th, there will be no school on Presidents Day.
The 3rd trimester tuition is due on February 15th. 2 day is $474.00, 3 day is $639.00, extended pre-kindergarten is $768 and Little Explorers is $768.00. Bright Beginnings Christian Preschool’s Tax ID number is #03-0455877, for families who need this information for tax purposes.
Usborne books, “Reading is a Gift”, Book Fair is coming to Bright Beginnings Christian Preschool on Tuesday, February 23rd and Wednesday, February 24th. You won’t want to miss your opportunity to view these award winning, high quality children’s literature books! See attached information.
Once again, Bright Beginnings Christian Preschool will be collecting nonperishable foods and personal hygiene items (preferably no glass) starting February 16th, to donate to the CEAP program to help out needy families who are less fortunate than us. Before these items are taken to CEAP on Friday, March 18th, the students will use these items to set up a grocery store in the dramatic play area. Our goal is to beat last year’s record of 166 lbs. This is a wonderful opportunity for your child to participate in a community project.
As a reminder, on March 3rd & 4th we will be having our Memories with Mom. If possible, moms or any other female figure in your child’s life should attend school this day and join us. Magician, Brian Richards will be there to entertain and amaze us. Please clear your calendars, so you can enjoy this opportunity with your child during their regular class time.
